SUMMARY:Volunteer Session run by BVCP - 15 Jun 25
DESCRIPTION:For June our volunteer Sunday of the  on 15th June and a ranger from Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership will be running a Rowhill Nature Reserve task for volunteers. \n\nFollowing an exercise to control the Rhododendron on the reserve\, we have been left with lots of brushwood on the woodland floor. This brushwood inhibits growth of the native woodland flora that we are trying to encourage (bluebells\, wood anemones\, mosses and ferns). To clear this area\, on the Sunday 15th June the Rowhill Volunteers are planning to have small\, controlled bonfire to burn the brushwood (location in the map below).
