Experience dawn chorus day 2026 at Rowhill

International Dawn Chorus Day is Sunday 3rd May 2026

Join us early in the morning at Rowhill, your local nature reserve on the Surrey/Hampshire border.

Our volunteers will lead you down through the ancient woodland and past the sphagnum bog to Stickleback Pond.  Here you will be able to experience the dawn chorus for yourself.

Come along and join us to listen to nature’s music.

We will meet at Rowhill Field Centre (top of Cranmore Lane, Aldershot) from 4am and once ready will walk down to Stickleback Pond.

Afterwards, on returning to the field centre,  there will be hot drinks and croissants available.
